A 60-count price cannot be divided by the elemental content of a 120-count pack. Match the pack and label exactly.
Magnesium glycinate, citrate and other names describe compounds. A compound weight includes the part that is not magnesium. The elemental line gives the magnesium amount used in our price comparison.
Bulk Nutrients’ nutrition panel states 1,310 mg magnesium glycinate and 180 mg equivalent magnesium per two capsules. Both numbers are real, but they measure different things.
A 120-capsule pack gives 60 comparison units of two capsules. At the checked $29 pack price, $29 ÷ (60 × 180 mg) × 100 = about $0.27 per 100 mg elemental magnesium.
We never apply one generic “glycinate percentage” to other products. Hydration, formulation and label conventions differ, so a conversion guess could misstate the comparison.
Both figures are given by the brand. Price uses 180 mg.
Enter the selected pack price and the elemental magnesium shown for one comparison unit. For powders, enter grams for both pack and unit. For tablets or capsules, enter counts for both. The units must match.
The worksheet compares label arithmetic only. It does not recommend how many units to take. If the label gives compound mass only, leave the elemental input blank until a source states it.

Shipping, membership and multi-buy offers can change the effective price. This worksheet uses the amount you enter.
